The Power of Uniqueness

It's getting really cold in Tokyo lately.

Today me and my friends went to the show called "TIC-TOK" performed by anarchy film.

It was a really unique show!

On the stage, the actors speaks and performs really fast. Honestly sometimes we hardly understand what's going on.

And this show has a kind of heavy messages like, what is the meaning of the time and what we're living for?

So even after the show we just couldn't stop talking about the show. Which means this show has a great energy!

"Outrage"

Have you seen "Outrage" the latest film of Takeshi Kitano yet?
If not, you're missing.

This is about Yakuza killing each other over and over just like "The Battle Without Honor Or Humanity".
Well, then what else do you need?
This film has every essences of Yakuza movie and I'm pretty sure this one will satisfy you well.

And there's one more special thing about it.

That Takeshi Kitano is now making a sequel of this film, and it is a first time for him to make a sequel.

I'm pretty sure he knows that we want more.

Yes, we fucking do!

I Wonder

Sometimes I wonder if I'm a too depressing person.
Sometimes I wonder why I can't believe in beautiful things and people.
Sometimes I wonder what if I cannot make movies any more.
Sometimes I wonder what if I just died today and what's gonna happen tomorrow.
Sometimes I wonder why I just can't let those things go and live this life a little easier.

And, sometimes I wonder why there're so many friends to help me making movies.
I'm such a fucking wasted trashy person since I was a damn kid.
I've been believing that I'm not supposed to live my life just like now.
Sometimes I can't believe it and confused. I know it's weird for some people.

I don't know what to think, what to say... but the only thing I'm sure is I love them.
And movies we've made.

Now I wonder why I wanted to write about all these here today.

Tragic Night

Now I'm editing "Bandaged" in my room almost everyday.

This work is really hard especially this time because the story is so dark and heavy even for myself.

Sometimes I stop and not able to back again soon.

Look how serious I am!

You know you better not even touch me while I'm editing.

But this night, somebody came to bather.

My wasted brother.

So you know what just happened then.

I just sent him to the hell!

Yeaaaaah! Now I can concentrate on my work!

(Hahaha! Yeah I can even edit your life, M*****F****R!)

Finally we finished the shooting of "BANDAGED"!!

It was a tough schedule, but fortunately everything went well.

Especially the weather.
The forecast had been saying that it might be raining on the day, but it wasn't.

There was no any troubles. 

It was fun! I guess we really enjoyed the shooting.

I really wanna thank everybody!

I'm so glad that the whole crew did really great job.

I couldn't have done this without any of them.

Now I'm editing the film on my laptop.

Actually I don't like this process because it's so lonely.

So quiet in my room now...

Now We're Filming

Now we're filming "BANDAGED".

We faced some difficulties, but with helps of my wonderful staffs and actors we finished the first half of the shooting schedule as we have planned.

We have two more days, and then I'm gonna have to put myself on the loneliness job which is called "Editing".

Get Ready

Okay, we're gonna have to get ready for the shooting!

It will be starting from this weekend.

This day we did the last camera test at the location.

Everything is good to go, it seems.

And I'm really excited to announce that we'll be live-streaming the shooting on Ustream!

I Found A Brain

Oh, hi brain.

In the production design room, I found some interesting props like this.
(But the brain is not for my film unfortunately. Haha)

The pre-production of "BANDAGED" is almost finish.
We'll be shooting in a few weeks at last.

Classic J-Hip Hop Hits

Let me introduce some of Japanese Hip Hop Hits this time.

They're old a bit and some of them have been called like, "Wack" or "Pop".

But honestly I don't care about all that.

What important is that they just told Japan what Hip Hop Music is.

And I think we have to respect that.

Meeting Day

Today I had meetings with each department of the movie.
From the early morning to the late night. A whole day in Shinjuku.

Well, yes, I gotta admit it was a tough day.
But I believe we all had really good meetings for the shooting which has been scheduled in the next month.

we got great actors, great crew, and great locations.

Gemstone

Tonight I felt like I wanna be a music producer because I just found a gemstone.
The girl in the center of the pic below is the one.

(Actually these three girls in the pic are all my co-workers. Young!)

Her name is Mio and she usually plays a bass.
But I think she best sing because she's got a great rockin' roll voice!
I just decided to talk about her with somebody who can play guitar well and could be interested in it.

Hopefully things gonna work and go well.

Fake Blood

I had a great meeting with the production designers for "Bandaged" today.

I'm so glad they're really talented and hard working crew.
They prepared the fake blood for this day, and the pic is below.

Wonderful, aren't they? You can even drink this blood.

I can't wait to use'em in the shooting!

The Audition!

We held a audition for the main actress of "BANDAGED" yesterday.

Many talented actresses came for it and performed.
I was so glad about it and also was feeling hard to choose one from them.

But I say everything around me is making me believe that this movie is gonna be a really powerful one.
Gotta keep going and smack the world down!

Location Hunting

I got a big fortune for "BANDAGED".

We'll be shooting at one of my friends apartment room this november.
He just decided to let us do it. Yay!

We're going to have an audition for the main actress soon.

"WEIRD" Shooting

I was joining the shooting of "WEIRD" in Tochigi yesterday.
WEIRD is the Japanese group of stunt performers.
They released few DVDs before, and now they're uploading some stunts on the web.

Summer Memories

My good summer memories of last few days.

Lotte Won

I saw the game of Chiba Lotte vs. Seibu Lions at Marine Stadium a few days ago.

The stadium located by the sea so the good winds were blowing in such a hottest summer.

Last time I saw the game Lotte lost it really bad, but this time they did well!

B-Boy Park with SR!

I was bouncing in B-BOY PARK 2010 @ Yoyogi-Park today.
A lot of Japanese Hip Hop Artists performed on the stage!
And this huge event was totally FREE! Just can't believe it!

Actually today I was there with my man Butch and the casts of the film "Saitama no Rapper (映画 "SR サイタマノラッパー")"!

I gotta say, today was a good day!

"Samurai Avenger" Premire

I was at the premire of "Samurai Avenger" in Shibuya today.

The film was nice, and with my friend's intruducing I talked with the director Mr. Mitsutake.

His thought of Japanese film industry was really close to mine.

I'm not saying that I'm a good film maker like him, but he also thinks that the world would love Japanese violent action movies like this.

Matter of fact, this film has a lots of violent and sexy scenes in it.

After the show, with about over 30 people including the director, we were drinking together at the Izakaya all night.
It was a crazy fun night!

Yuki the Voice Actress

I had a talk with one girl today.

Her name is Yuki and she will play a roll in my next short film "Bandaged". Yay!

Actually she's trying to be a voice actress.

I'm pretty sure that she can make her dream come true.

Because she has a sweet voice!

Just can't wait for the shooting!
Everything seems going well so far.

Monsters

Another independent film is about to hit the hollywood.

It's called "Monsters".

Seriously I just can't believe this movie's budget was only $15,000. (about ￥1,500,000!)

Well, all I wanna say is... Damn!!

"INCEPTION" is...

I saw "INCEPTION" at last.

I say this is the most amazing work of Christopher Nolan!!

Goddammit, he's a fucking genius!!

And of course "Inception" is the best film of this year so far!

Every movie lovers gotta go to the theater -- no, in the world of dreams.

Well I'm going to see it again!
