Now we're shooting a new short film called "YIELDS".

This will be showing at KINEATTIC in Harajuku from Nov. 11-13th.

The shooting will be over in the middle of September.

Black Swan

I just saw "Black Swan" at last.
All I gotta say is... DAMN FU%&IN' AWESOME!!!

When the film ends, and the lights back on, I couldn't say anything but shaking.
It was the energy of this film in the air, or my heart just felt something never felt before maybe.

I realized how amazing Natalie is, and the power of actors.

Amazing...juuust amazing it was.

Akihabara

I went to Akihabara with my friend today.

Lots of people cuz it's a weekend! Yay!

And we visited "AKB theatre" where the most popular Japanese idol group AKB48 performances EVERYDAY.

You got to reserve the tickets online if you wanna see the show so we couldn't see it.

Akihabara... this area always makes me feel like I'm not in Japan.
And I love it!

"Django Unchained"

Quentin Tarantino's new film "Django Unchained" just has announced!

There are already rumors that Christoph Waltz aka Col. Landa will be in it, and I just saw the news says Tarantino wanting Will Smith for the main character "Django".

Well, to be honest, that sounds fantastic to me!

(Christoph's recent work was the slaughtering American Idol's Judges.)

Can't wait for "Django Unchained"!

The Beach Of Chiba

I visited the beach of Hasunuma in Chiba prefecture.

I used to come here often just to walk, so I was worry about here since the disaster. 

The beach looks same as usual, but I found a heap of rubble in the parking area by the beach.

I could smell some mold around the place.

Just couldn't believe what I was seeing.

It's been a month from that day, but it is not over even in Chiba.

"CANDY DOG"

I went to Roppongi to see "CANDY DOG".
"CANDY DOG" is an independent film by my friends Mr. Suzuki & Mr. Takamatsu.
The film was great especially the editing.
In fact I wasn't bored at all.



After the show I had a drink with the directors and actors.
It's always great to have drinks with people who loves films a lot.

(Hmm...I look like a kid btw. lol)

We never stop 'cause we just don't know how to!

Spring Comes In Japan

No matter what, the cherry blossoms are smiling at us.

(Ueno Park in Tokyo. Everybody was smiling.)

I went to see Pandas in Ueno zoo.

There was a long line for the panda.

It took about 40 minutes, but I didn't feel that long 'cuz I was surrounded by the people's smile and laughing.

 (Finally! I wanna thank you for making us smile!)

After the zoo, I met some friends in Shibuya.

My friend dancers called Rabies are doing the show.

At the night, with my another friends, we had a karaoke party!

It was a crazy night.

I had a big fun on this day.

He left Millenium Falcon.

Today my friend Gen gave me this big Millenium Falcon!
Yay!

 (Pretty much bigger than I thought. :D)

I know him for years but he never change.

He's like totally a kid in a good way. I really respect that.

I gotta find some space in my room for this spaceship.

I had to drink.

Earthquake

I still cannot believe what just happened in my country.
I was at my workplace, the place got shook and messed up crazy.
Fortunately, me and my family are safe.
The gas was not working, and I've heard electricity and water are still shut down in some neighborhood.

Please keep praying for us.
Rest in peace, the all people who lost their life in this disaster.

Japan Academy Awards

"Confessions" (告白) won best picture!
This film also took prizes for best director, script, and editing.

Well actually this film released last year and I remember a lot of my friends were excited like, "You must see it!" but I just missed a chance.
Recently, it was about a week ago, I finally watched this DVD and I got blown like "Wow!"
I guarantee this film is one of the best Japanese films of all time!

When you have a chance to see "Confessions" at the theaters or DVD whatever...
"You must see it!"

My Film Director Friends

What's up!
I went to Shinjuku and met some friends today!

This is Mr. Kibe.

We contacted each other on Youtube (He saw my short film! Yay!), and found out that we have some common friends.

The small world, yeh?

He's a really good guy. I'm hoping that we could work together someday!

And after that, one of my best friends Tetsuya showed up!
(He's working at the production called wonder graphics.)
Well, he's also a good advisor for my movies.
Sometimes the things he says make me down but I know he's telling me the truth.
Which means he's a really good friend and important person for making my movies.

It's been a great day.

I just finished my new short film "BANDAGED".
The post-production was tough, but I'm glad there wasn't any big troubles.

From now we're sending this film to competitions.
After all things are done, I'll upload the film on Youtube.

I just can't wait to show it to people and hear the opinions!

And I'm thinking of the next one...

Here Comes Another Talent

The Finale of "Lost"

At last I watched the final episode of "Lost".
I know it's kinda late, but believe it or not, the DVD released in Japan today!
What a late release.

Anyway I've been following this drama for 6 years, and now all I want to say is one thing...

"Thank you for the great show!"

There's no doubt this is the best TV show ever.
The ending was great to me at least, and now I feel so LOST that there's no TV show such as Lost.

I will never forget the memories of the island.

Shoot The Future!

I was helping the shooting of my man Shoji's short film today!

He shoots with this popular camera Canon's 7D for this film.

It is a nice camera, but I guess there's still much to be improved as a filming camera.

(These guys are all from Hiroshima!)

The shooting was really fun!

I think the actors did a really good job on this.

I just can't wait to see the film!

We shoot the film like playing kids.

I believe that is an one of the important elements of making films.

If we cannot enjoyed it, who would?
It's almost same as music.
