Beach & Joy

Can't stop loving beach in the summer time!

(What do you see in the sunset, my man....)

I was chilling around there with my friends today.
The place makes me forget all the damn things of my life.

I say when you feel down, you shouldn't stay inside your house.
You gotta go outside and talk with somebody.

I bet that'll work.
And that's how I live at least.

Hip Hop Day

Yesterday was a totally Hip-Hop day for me.

(MC Wanyudo [輪入道] was dope, I guess.)

First, at Club-Wire in Shinjuku.
They were holding a Hip-Hop event called "Adrenaline".
Many young Japanese rappers were there and rapping almost all the time. (MC battle was especially dope.)
I also saw the crew of the TV program "Ryu-Ha R (流派R)" interviewing those rappers.
It was dope enough to make me believe Japanese Hip Hop is still alive.

After that I saw the movie "Saitama-no-Rapper 2"(サイタマノラッパー2).
This movie focuses on the female rappers and the realism of J-Hip Hop.
I really love this film! Someday I wish to see the director Yu Irie.

(The trailer of "Saitama-no-Rapper 2")

Then finally jumped on the train and went to the club "Unit" in Daikan-Yama.

(The Afro-Beat band "Kingdom☆Afrocks".)
I'm gonna buy their CD.

DJ Muro, DJ Mitsu the Beats, Rich Medina, Kingdom☆Afrocks (their live was really awesome), and my man DJ Pony were also there!

Drunk a lot, Danced a lot, and loving Hip Hop a lot!

Word up!

Mr. Sekine

I had a talk with the actor Mr. Sekine in Nihonbashi.

He played a roll in my last short film "Kids Under The Bridge", and today we talked about my next film.
I really like to talk with him.
He's a great actor and great father also.

Oh, and please don't laugh at this his picture. He's just fixing his teeth!

After that I visited my film school to meet some friends.

It was a really good day.
A day like today, I don't feel tired at all.

Wonderful Day With...

Had a wonderful day with Mr. Butch and a lot of great people!

First we went to see the Actors Workshop at Geinou-Kadensha in Shinjuku.
A lot of actors were there, and they were learning it in an interesting way.

Then we went to Enoshima to see P.O.P ORCHeSTRA's live!
(They produced the music for the movie "Saitamano-Rapper 2"!)

(with Mr. Takahiro[P.O.P. ORCHeSTRA] & Mr. Butch)

Mr. Takashiro told me a lot about "Saitamano-Rapper 2" and its director Yu Irie.
Hmm...it seems all these independent film makers gotta keep fighting with the Japanese movie industry.

(DJ, BMX Riders, Documentary Film Makers... lots of great people were there!)

In the night, Mr. Butch had a shooting schedule for an independent film, so I just followed into the club in Shibuya.
Then I met my L.A. friends there! Yay!

A Simply wonderful day.
Wanna go to Enoshima again soon! I love there!

M.I.A.

The real music just arrived!!
M.I.A.'s new album "/\/\ /\ Y /\" is one of the dopest albums of the year!

If you don't listen to her music, you're so sleep.
Gotta check out the music clip of "Born Free" and it will makes you wake up.
(But I guess it's not on Youtube due to too much of violent scenes.)

I think she's not just a singer but a soldier!
Way to go M.I.A.!

INSiDE

I still watch this short film sometimes.

This short film is called "INSiDE" directed by Trevor Sands.
When I was in Los Angeles, my friend Seth (He's also making movies in Thai!) told me about this one, and I was like "wow!"
Check it out.

Simply amazing screenplay, isn't it?
Great work.

Now I'm working on several short films and hopefully shooting them in the end of this summer.
I just can't stop! Gotta going on!
