Yesterday was a totally Hip-Hop day for me.
(MC Wanyudo [輪入道] was dope, I guess.)
First, at Club-Wire in Shinjuku.
They were holding a Hip-Hop event called "Adrenaline".
Many young Japanese rappers were there and rapping almost all the time. (MC battle was especially dope.)
I also saw the crew of the TV program "Ryu-Ha R (流派R)" interviewing those rappers.
It was dope enough to make me believe Japanese Hip Hop is still alive.
After that I saw the movie "Saitama-no-Rapper 2"(サイタマノラッパー2).
This movie focuses on the female rappers and the realism of J-Hip Hop.
I really love this film! Someday I wish to see the director Yu Irie.
(The trailer of "Saitama-no-Rapper 2")
Then finally jumped on the train and went to the club "Unit" in Daikan-Yama.
(The Afro-Beat band "Kingdom☆Afrocks".)
I'm gonna buy their CD.
DJ Muro, DJ Mitsu the Beats, Rich Medina, Kingdom☆Afrocks (their live was really awesome), and my man DJ Pony were also there!
Drunk a lot, Danced a lot, and loving Hip Hop a lot!
Word up!
